Amber White, MA, LPC, is the Director of Counseling Services and Family Therapist. She is married to her husband of 10 years, Nick White. They live here in Monroe with their two wonderful sons, Bryan and Micah. Amber has been working as a family therapist since May, 2010, after graduating with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She specializes in marital/relationship issues and family conflict resolution. Amber’s therapeutic approach is solution focused brief therapy. This is a goal-oriented approach to therapy, which focuses on strengths, positives and natural solutions in the family/individual. Amber has a passion for the work she does and loves to see families and individuals find hope in their lives and the strength to move forward and make changes.

Cost and Insurance

  • Cost
    • Cost of counseling sessions are set by the therapist at a per session rate. However, several major insurance plans are accepted and there are other discounts available for those that are paying cash. Call the clinic to check on your specific situation.
  • Insurance
    • The following insurance plans are accepted at this time: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Vantage Health Plan, American Behavioral, and Tricare Standard. Each company sets different deductibles and co-pays. Please contact the clinic and we will be glad to help with getting the information you need to find out what is covered by your specific plan.
  • Payment
    • Payment is to be made in full at the time of service. If your insurance is covering the session, you will only be responsible for your part (as determined by the insurance company). After your session, if needed, the insurance company will be billed for any remaining balance. Anything not covered by insurance is your responsibility.
  • Cancellation Policy
    • If you schedule an appointment and do not show up for it, or if the appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours of notice, you will be responsible for half the session fee. This fee is not covered by insurance.
